Roy Builders is a residential construction firm that
builds new homes of exceptional quality internationally.
They also specialize in the restoration and renovation
of historic homes. Having built homes in Germany,
Japan, Iceland, and Ireland as well as Canada, the
focus of company activity is currently Canada and
Ireland.
The starting point varies. Some clients arrive with
complete architectural plans; others bring only rough
sketches. Usually, the project will have at least
some design/build elements. In all cases, the partners—President,
Pat MacKay and master builder, Rob Roy—work
closely with the client throughout the project to
produce the home of the client’s dreams.
The activities that accompany this comprehensive commitment
differ from situation to situation, but frequently
include consultation on building siting, the creation
of working drawings, advice on the selection of building
materials, and interior/exterior design. Pat works
with the client on aesthetic choices and interior
and exterior selections. And on technical issues,
Rob brings his expertise regarding materials and methods
to the decision-making process.
